The showing is located 2.5 kilometres southwest of Waterloo Mountain, approximately 23 kilometres southwest of Duncan.

The area is underlain by volcanic rock units of the Jurassic Bonanza Group and metamorphic rocks of the Triassic to Cretaceous Leach River Formation. These have been intruded by biotite hornblende granodiorites and quartz diorites of the Island Intrusions.

Two types of mineralization occur on the property:

1.) Pyrite and chalcopyrite mineralization occurs in siliceous volcanics of the Bonanza Group. Locally, intense shearing and brecciation were observed within the zones of alteration. A chip sample of this material returned up to 18 per cent copper (Assessment Report 31209).

2.) Quartz veins, hosting disseminated gold and minor visible gold, occur in schists and thin bedded greywacke of the Leach River Formation. Chip samples of vein material have returned up to 0.765 parts per million gold (Assessment Report 31209).

The claims were staked in 2007, by Le Baron Prospecting, to cover two magnetic anomalies. In 2007 through 2009, exploration included programs of rock chip and stream sediment sampling.
